Hey Everyone!
It was such a blast seeing all of you and meeting your friends at our February Galantines Luncheon! We had so much fun, and a huge thank you to Jana Roman for entertaining us with love song bingo!
It’s Wild West Month, Y’all!!Can you believe we’re just weeks away from our biggest fundraiser of the year?! The team has been working hard to make sure it’s not only a fun night but a legendary one. And because we want to make sure we all look sharp on the dance floor join us for a “Line Dancing Sub Club Pop-Up” on Thursday, March 13 at 6pm at Sam Adams. Grab a drink, loosen up those hips, and let’s master our boot scoot-in boogie together! I can’t wait to see you there!
Right now, we’re all laser-focused on making Wild West Night a huge success! Once that’s behind us, we’ll turn our attention to our next luncheon on April 9th, and of course, GRANTS—the heart and soul of what we do. This year, we have 38 amazing grant applicants to review, and our goal is to help as many as possible. So yeah, let’s make Wild West Night the fundraising event of the century (no pressure, right?).
And here’s the part where I get serious!
We need to fill our board for next year! We’re looking for a president and treasurer to keep the club running! We’ve already seen some great interest in other positions, and we’re so thankful for that! Serving on the board is a rewarding experience and a great chance to make a real impact in the community. So, if you or someone you know is interested, please reach out! And don’t worry—there’s still plenty of time for shadowing, which means you’ll get to see exactly what you’re getting yourself into (and yes, it’s all worth it!).

Wild West Night
Tickets ARE LIVE!
Grab your spouse & friends and BOOT SCOOTIN' BOOGIE on over to Wild West Night on SATURDAY, MARCH 29th, 2025, 6:30 PM at the Lone Star Conference Center on Fort Cavazos! This high-energy evening includes a silent & live auction, casino games, line dancing, delicious hors d'oeuvres, memorable photo opps, and the opportunity to throw your partner, neighbor, or Trooper's boss in jail.
Our favorite auctioneer cowboys will be back to provide a fast pace & exciting live auction. Wild West Night is our final fundraiser of the year that supports our outreach program which will award grants to Central Texas nonprofits this spring. Let's make this the biggest night in FCSC history! Fancy yourself in your favorite country attire and we'll see you under the Neon Moon on March 29th!"

Community Outreach
On behalf of the FCSC, thank you to everyone who donated to Operation Deploy Your Dress in February! With upcoming proms and military balls, your donations will ensure that our inventory is well-stocked and that we are able to "dress" all of our wonderful attendees!
It's time for our annual outreach project. This year, we have partnered with the Fisher House (https://fisherhouse.org/programs/houses/current-houses/texas-carl-r-darnall-army-medical-center/) on Fort Cavazos. There are several items that this organization needs in order to continue to serve military and veteran families. We have created a wishlist (linked below) with some of their most requested items. These items will be shipped directly to our Community Outreach chairperson. Please note that you can absolutely purchase similar items anywhere you choose and bring those items to the April luncheon to receive an extra raffle ticket!
